I may just be really stupid but like Keegan is mtf right so why did she ask ariel for a tampon? I'm not transphobic im just rlly slow

It's all good! Keegan's the kind of girl to keep menstrual products on her person, and her friends/classmates sometimes go to her if needed (also, this line/scene was inspired by real life 😊)

thank youu that makes alot of sense i got it mixed up as keegan asking ariel for one

I just finished the game and love it a lot!  The character writing was really good, and I especially appreciate how you wrote Corey's anxiety, it was well done and realistic.

I seem to be having trouble playing the bonus content, despite getting all three endings.  Do you have any advice about how to access them?

Thank you for playing!! 😊There's a public guide you can access here, but if you've gotten all 3 endings no problem, you might need to make sure you reach the main menu after each ending. Lmk if you still have issues!

(+1)

You're very welcome!  Unfortunately, I still can't access the bonus content, despite playing and getting all three endings again.  Please don't worry too much about it, I just wanted to let you know in case it's an issue other people are encountering aside from me.

Oh no! 😭 Honestly, I'll worry a little bit as a treat since I'm very biased towards the bonus scenes but thanks for the heads up! I'll check on my end to see if it's something I can fix

Just finished (got the 3 endings yay ! ) and the game was in a strange way wholesome. I liked the atmosphere and getting to learn about Corey's thoughts ( many of his thoughts made me snort because they were a bit too relatable ). I also have to says that all the interactions with the friends were a mood but also sweet ( I loved Keegan) Really nice game I had a good time and everything was lovely :]

It makes me so happy to hear that people are responding warmly to Corey πŸ˜‹ also the group texts were probably the highlight of making this whole game LOL!

I keep trying to download the Mac version but it keeps saying the download failed :(

Oh no! Can you describe the error message or if there's anything else it says? I'll take a look on my end too and see if I can troubleshoot

Okay, I've got a sort-of solutions, if you have the itch.io app and that's given you issues, try downloading the game from the browser and see if works that way!

hi! sorry for the late reply it works now thank you so much!

Yay, glad to hear!

An unbearably charming game about getting With a Beautiful Boy  (people who got the best end know what I'm talking about πŸ‘ˆπŸ‘ˆ)

Just like Hummingbird Games' other title, High School Daze, the story and dialogue is written with a lot of heart; riveting banter and thoughtful introspection in equal measure.

Relationships are balanced brilliantly, and you'll find emotional depth not just in the romance, but in the protagonist's family and friends, too. Every on-screen character feels full of life with their own inner worlds - yes, even the dreaded toxic ex (gasp!).

10/10 cozy game!

Seeing Crushed labeled a cozy game is more than enough to make me cry really!! Thank you (again!!) for playing and for this glowing review πŸ˜πŸ’ž

(+3)

I loved it! It was... realistic and relatable, I know anxiety well. At first I kept getting the neutral end no matter what I did xD And I thought I was making good choices. Then I got the two bad ends and, finally, the best end. I don't even know how I did it, to be honest πŸ˜… And thanks to another comment I got to see the bonus content xDDD I almost missed it. Thank you for bringing us this game πŸ’–

(+2)

LOL I think this is a sign to stop being coy and just announce that there is bonus content if you unlock all 3 endings 🀣 But thank you so much for playing and your feedback!!

(+3)

this was so cute!! played through all endings (don't know why the good ending took me so long to find lol) and i love the slice of life/coming of age vibes i got from this. it's not just a simple (beginning of a) love story, it's also about corey friends and family and community. the character art is lovely, all characters are very relatable. overall, i think i'm a little bit in love with this story. looking forward to the update with the voiced character lines!! also: please tell me you have a keegan & oke story coming up next??

(+2)

HOLD UP, i see a screenshot of the game on your twitter with the whole friend group. i missed a scene i believe omg brb

(+1)

Yes! Bonus content! Go get it!!

(+2)

Yay for all endings!!! Yeah, I'd argue that the bad and good endings are the "hardest" to get, but not too difficult I'd hoped! And I adore slice of life stories so it make me cheese so hard when I find kindred spirits.

AHHH OKE & KEEG, my heart πŸ’› They definitely have a story but I'm unsure if/when they'll get their turn. But just know I love those two goobers.

All three endings are achieved and here are my thoughts.

Although the theme of American teenagers seems somewhat exhausted even in our eyes (foreigners who are far from American everyday life, education and upbringing), this story seems fresh and exciting to me.

And there are two reasons for this. The first is the sincerity of the main character, and the second is what I would call "the poetry of everyday life."

I also want to note that the language of "text messages!!!" was given to me much easier than wade through the wilds of slang in "High School Daze"))

And finally, talking about books is never enough)

(+1)

Aww thanks for playing and your kind words!! (And LOL I'm super glad the text conversations were readable, I'm not gonna lie!)

I FINALLY CAME AROUND TO PLAYING THIS DARLING GAME HOW DARE I TAKE SO LONG AAAAHHHGHGHHGHH

I didn't realize this was part of high School daze cinematic universe (HSDCU)?!? When I tell you that my eyes lit up recognizing a certain cameo making certain references--

This game has CUTEST colors and music that set up the cozy vibe of the game right away. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and I adore Corey as the protagonist. His voice and experiences are marvelously written and I'm super attached to him now, I want my boy to be happy. And the texts? The texts?? And the dreaded ex texts.

I'm truly looking forward to more, Gemini, thank you for sharing this game!!!

(+2)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! 🀧 thank you!!

(+4)

Just finished playing the demo and I absolutely adored it!! Y'all did a great job! Excited to play the rest in the summer ^-^
